 Kasbah balkooch reed is now called Kasbah Beni Mellal located high in the top of a mountain close to Mount Tasmit.

 The Kasbah was built by the Sultan Al-'Aloi Moulay Isma'il in a strategic location that enables him to observe everything that goes around and goes to the city of Beni Mellal.

   Ein Asrdoon Resort is located in the Moroccan city of Beni Mellal, right on the mountain overlooking the city, the picturesque and agricultural town.

   Ein Asrdoon is composed of two words. The word 'Ein' in Arabic means 'source' and 'Asrdoon' in Amazigh means 'mule'.
  The fact that the word Asrdoon Amazigh means mule, how the mule was associated with this wonderful source and wonderful waterfalls, tells a historical story, which is not a myth, that a man from the tribe of Ait Sokhman returned from the market of the city of Beni Mellal on the back of his mule and passed through the place where the source of water, he saw the hay coming out with the water from that source, and he guessed that the straw bags that had been lost during the transfer from the podium rolled from top to where the water descended from the mountain, and the hay that comes with the water may be part of those bags.To confirm his assumption, he experimented with himself. He threw hay in the same place where the first bags fell, and on the next day he saw the hay coming out again from the same source of water.

Beni Mellal Moroccan city newly located in the Midwest of the Kingdom of Morocco between the Middle Atlas and easy Tadla, this city is the capital of the territory of Beni Mellal and Beni Mellal-Khnifra area, Away from the Casablanca by 250 miles, 340 km from the capital Rabat, 99 km from the city of khouribga , 45 km from the city of al-Faqih Ibn Saleh which is located on same area, 70 km from the city of Azilal the capital of the territory of Azilal which is located on same area.

Beni Mellal is located on the axis of the road between the cities of Fez and Marrakech. The Beni Mellal region is an area rich in agricultural resources. It is located southeast of Rashidiyah, northeast of Khenifra, northwest of Khouribga and south-west of the territory of Qal'at al-Saragna.

The population of Beni Mellal was 192676 according to the 2014 census.
